This Hill Station is located in the State of Pahang, 4-5 hours drive from Kuala Lumpur. It is named after Williams Cameron, a British Surveyor who stumbled across the plateau in 1885 during a mapping expedition.

Cameron Highlands is located about 1500m above sea level. This is the most popular highland retreats for Malaysian and to those tourist who are looking for more variety of destination other then Kuala Lumpur. Cameron Highlands has its Malaysia taste and has a charm of its own with its Tudor architecture style buildings and tea plantations with its soothing greenery and breathtaking scenery, not to mention the old favorite English pastime of having afternoon tea and scones with Devonshire cream.
 

Agriculture is Cameron Highlands primarily domain, one will find abundance of vegetable farms, flower nurseries, fruit farms, Strawberries Farms that is fruiting all year round. The most prominent highlights are the Tea Plantations that one should not miss to visit. there are 3 small cities, that's call Ringlet, Tanah Rata and Brinchang, you should notice a hive of activities with restaurants, small groceries shops are abundance with local and tourist alike as it's main patron.
